Ramblers Wellbeing Walks Salisbury

Salisbury Wellbeing Walks are part of a national scheme, organised locally by trained volunteers and supported by Salisbury City Council. Walks take place every Thursday, starting at 10am from various locations around the city.

Walking is an ideal way to maintain or improve ones health, to meet new people and enjoy the beautiful parks and open countryside around the city in the company of others.

All walks are free and start points are easily accessible by bus. We offer two circular walks every week, one of 60 minutes at a gentle price and one of 90 minutes at a slightly faster pace, which can include some hills and rough ground.

We also have 30-minute walks called ‘Footsteps to Fitness’ on the last Thursday of the month from the Cathedral Close and on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from the Parish Hall in Lower Street, Harnham.  These are a good introduction for new walkers, those recovering from illness or anyone who just wants to get out and meet new people.  We hope to develop more short, local walks in the coming months.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME, either as a walker or volunteer.
